Minutes for Board of Directors meeting
September 21, 2006
Attending:
Jerry Golamanvich, Brian Clausen, Dave O’Brien, Larry Koester, Troy Brand, Dustin Allison, Joe Allen.
Details:
President Jerry Golmanavich brought the meeting to order .
Secretary Brian Clausen read the minutes from the August 10, 2006 Board meeting. Troy Brand motion to approve the minutes as read. Dave O’Brien seconded the motion, the motion passed unanimously.
Advertising:
Larry Koester handed out a copy of the advertising sponsorship letter for the 2006-2007 season. A “point person” was volunteered to follow up on the acquisition and collection from each sponsor.
Treasurer:
Dave O’Brien handed out a spreadsheet with the latest financial numbers. Also plans for doing income taxes were discussed.
Newsletter:
Joe Allen advised us that the deadline for the next newsletter is November 15, 2006.
Membership:
Troy Brand informed us that we have 61 current members and no new members this month.
Program:
Dustin Allison brought us up to date with planning upcoming technical meetings. Tentatively Bohler-Uddeholm for November. And Primus for December.
New Business:
The November 9, 2006 Board meeting will be held at Nature Works.
Jay VanRoy motioned to make the October seminar free to Board members.
Dave O’Brien seconded the motion, the motion passed unanimously.
Adjournment:
Joe Allen motioned to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Jay VanRoy and passed unanimously.
